FIX: You receive an error message when you try to use the BizTalk Adapter for MSMQ version 2.0 in BizTalk Server 2004 to send an XML message to a BizTalk Server MSMQ receive function

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You try to use the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for MSMQ version 2.0 in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 to send an XML message. You try to send the message to a BizTalk 2002 MSMQ receive function on a remote computer where Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 is installed. You may receive an error message that is similar to the following in the event log:
An error occurred in BizTalk Server.

Details:
--------
[0x1918] The ""DIRECT=OS:.\private$\rqueue"" Message Queuing receive function is not configured for a pass-through submission, but it has encountered a document that was submitted previously as a pass-through submission. Change this receive function to accept pass-through submissions or remove the pass-through document from the queue. This receive function will be shut down.

[0x172d] The receive function "RF_MSMQ" has experienced problems, it will be shut down and disabled. Once these problems have been corrected, re-enable this receive function in BizTalk Server Administration.

[0x1704] There was a failure processing the "RF_MSMQ" receive function. Check your receive function configuration in BizTalk Server Administration.
Additionally, the BizTalk Server 2002 MSMQ receive function is disabled after you send the XML message.

This problem occurs if you click to select the Submit with a pass-through flag check box on the properties page for the receive function.

More information

After you install the hotfix, you must make the following configuration changes to the BizTalk Server 2004 send port:
A new body property has been added to the send port. You must set the Message body type property to 8209.

Note The Message body type property value of 8209 represents a VT_ARRAY|VT_UI1 variable type.
You must set the Segmentation property to True.
