You cannot install programs that use the InstallShield program on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1

You run the Setup program to install WebSAM Storage ReplicationControl SQL Option Ver3.2 from NEC Corporation on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1). However, the Setup program is not completed successfully. You cannot install WebSAM Storage ReplicationControl SQL Option Ver3.2 on the computer.

You do not experience this problem when you run the Setup program to install WebSAM Storage ReplicationControl SQL Option Ver3.2 on a computer that is running the original release version of Windows Server 2003.

This problem occurs because of a program compatibility issue.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2.
