Resolution

Hotfix information

To find handles that are open, you can use the Handle utility. The Handle utility is a third-party utility. To download the Handle utility, visit the following Sysinternals Web site: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support. To find handles that are open, unzip the Handle.zip package, move to the folder of the Handle utility, and then run the following command at a command prompt:
handle -p store.exe |findstr MDBDATA
The results will look similar to the following text:
450: File C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA
1f84: File C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA
This text shows that two handles are open. Only one handle should be open after a restore operation.
