You receive a "The stub received bad data" error when you use the Content Download Jobs Wizard in ISA 2004

Symptoms

In Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) 2004, you use the Content Download Jobs Wizard. In this wizard, when you receive the Run the job prompt, you click one time only, on completion of this wizard. Later in the wizard, you click If source and request headers indicate to cache, or if content is dynamic, then the content will be cached. When the wizard finishes, you receive the following error message:
An error occurred when running the job:
Error: 0x800706f7
The stub received bad data
Note The error number and message bay be different, depending on the Time to Live (TTL) value.

Cause

This problem occurs because the one time only, on completion of this wizard setting the Content Download Jobs Wizard is not compatible with the If source and request headers indicate to cache, or if content is dynamic, then the content will be cached setting.

Workaround

To work around this problem select an option that is not one time only, on completion of this wizard when you receive the Run the job prompt in the Content Download Jobs Wizard in Internet Security and Acceleration 2004.
