Cause

This problem may occur when a folder is copied to a public folder, and the folder is replicated to another server that is running Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. When this folder is replicated, only some of the rules that the folder contains are replicated to the other Exchange 2000 server. Because this folder is missing certain MAPI properties, the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service does not process the folder correctly. Therefore, when you try to programmatically obtain hierarchy changes from the mailbox, or from the public folder where this folder is stored, the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service quits unexpectedly.
