To resolve this issue, edit the SocketsInAcceptReuseList registry value to prevent this issue from occurring when you modify network adaptor settings or IP addresses in ISA Server 2004. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
- Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\FwSrv\Parameters\SocketsInAcceptReuseList
Note If this registry subkey does not exist, you must create it. To do this, follow these steps:- Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\FwSrv\Parameters
- Right-click this registry subkey, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- In the Name box, type SocketsInAcceptReuseList.
- Right-click SocketsInAcceptReuseList, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
- Restart the Microsoft Firewall service. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
- In the list of services, right-click Microsoft Firewall, and then click Restart.
