Introduction

The Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site is a production quality site. The Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site can help advance development for Commerce Server 2002 by using Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1.

Microsoft developed the Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site as an option to use instead of the Microsoft Solution for Internet Business (MSIB) solution site. Microsoft also developed the Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site for deployments that do not require Microsoft Content Management Server.

More information

The Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site can coexist with MSIB on the same computer. However, if the CS2002StarterSite project is opened in Visual Studio .NET on a computer that has MSIB installed, the following 3 reference paths must be changed to point to the local bin directory of the CS2002StarterSite project.
Microsoft.Solutions.AccountManagement.dll
Microsoft.Solutions.Search.dll
Microsoft.Solutions.Shared.dll
