Cause

This problem occurs when the program writes to a volume mount point that is located on a storage area network (SAN) that is connected by using a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) connection.

Note This problem does not occur when the program writes to a volume that is connected by using a drive letter mapping.

This problem occurs because data transfers from the client to the server do not progress. Subsequently, Windows disconnects from the volume mount point. Therefore, Windows cannot write to the volume mount point.
