Symptoms

When you try to migrate configuration settings from a Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000-based computer that uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates to a Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004-based computer, the migration stops responding. You do not receive an error message or other notification.

Resolution

To resolve this issue that occurs when you upgrade from ISA Server 2000 to ISA Server 2004 on a different computer, install all the SSL certificates that you need on the ISA Server 2004-based computer before you import the ISA Server 2000 configuration file.
