To make sure that the Cluster service account has Exchange
Full Administrator permissions at the organization level, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and
then click System Manager.
- In the Exchange System Manager console
tree, right-click your Exchange organization name, and then click
Delegate control.
- In the Exchange Administration Delegation
Wizard dialog box, click Next.
- In the Users or Groups page of the wizard, click
Add.
- In the Delegate Control Box dialog box,
click Browse.
- In the Select Users, Computers or Groups
list, click
Cluster_Service_Account, and then
click OK.
- In the Role area of the Delegate
Control dialog box, click Exchange Full
Administrator, and then click OK.
- Click Next, and then click
Finish.
To make sure that the Cluster service account is a member of the
local administrators group, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to
Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and
then click Computer Management.
- Expand the Computer Management (local)
container.
- Expand the System Tools
container.
- Expand the Local Users and Groups
container.
- Click the Groups container.
- In the right pane, double-click the
Administrators group to see the members.
- Click Add, and then click
Advanced.
- Click Locations, click
Your_Domain_Name container in the
Location list, and then click OK.
- Click Find Now.
- Click the
Cluster_Service_Account, and then
click OK three times.
