In Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004, reports are created in local time. The log entries in the ISA Server log viewer are displayed in local time. ISA Server logs are configured as follows:
  • Text log files (ISA Server file format) are in local time.
  • Text log files (W3C extended log file format) are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), also known as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
  • MSDE log files are in local time.
  • SQL (ODCB) logs are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
Note Different time formats do not affect reporting accuracy.
