The result of the Index functoid is an empty string when you specify the Attribute FormDefault property of the source schema as Qualified in BizTalk Server 2004

Symptoms

When you use the Index functoid of the BizTalk Mapper in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 and you specify the Attribute FormDefault property of the source schema as Qualified, the result of the Index functoid is an empty string. If you specify the Attribute FormDefault property of the source as Unqualified, the Index functoid works as expected.

Note The default value for this property is Unqualified.
