FIX: Event ID 5701 and Event ID 5699 are logged in the Application log in BizTalk Server 2004

Symptoms

On a computer that is running Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, both of the following events may be logged in the Application log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: BizTalk Server 2004
Event Category: BizTalk Server 2004
Event ID: 5701
Description: The Messaging Engine encountered an error "The instance is no longer valid. No operations can be performed on an instance after dehydration or completion of that instance. " while deleting one or more messages from the host queue.

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: BizTalk Server 2004
Event Category: BizTalk Server 2004
Event ID: 5699
Description: The Messaging Engine was unable to write tracking data for one or more outbound messages HRESULT:"c0c01b05".

Cause

This problem occurs if a deadlock condition occurs in Microsoft SQL Server 2000. In BizTalk Server 2004, a race condition may occur during the message dequeuing process. This race condition could lead to a thread deadlock condition in SQL Server 2000.
