More information

A BizTalk Server 2004 transaction may span multiple databases and multiple computers. If one of those databases fails, the whole BizTalk Server 2004 instance has to be restored, and then all related databases must be restored to a single point in time to guarantee that the system is in a consistent state. BizTalk Server 2004 does not include the ability to keep a warm standby environment. This hotfix, known as BizTalk Server 2004 Log Shipping, provides this functionality.
