Check Number and Invoice Number That The Check Is Applied To On The Purchase Order Status Report

Question:

I would like the check number and the invoice number that the check is applied to on the Purchase Order Status Report (Reports - Purchasing - Analysis - Purchase Order Status). What are the steps to do this?

Answer:
 
1. While in Dynamics/eEnterprise, go to Tools - Customize - Report Writer .
2. Then select the POP Purchase Order Status Report and insert it into the Modified Reports.
3. Next, click on the Tables button on the menu bar.
4. Select the POP_ReceiptHist and open the table.
5. Click on Relationships and select New .
6. Select the PM Paid Transaction History file as the secondary table.
7. Next, select Key 5 and match Trx Source to Trx Source .
8. Then match Voucher Number to Voucher Number and click OK .
9. Close out of all the windows until you get to the Report Definition window.
10. Click on the Tables button on the Report Definition window.
11. Then double click on the Purchase Receipt History table.
12. Next, double click on the PM Paid Transaction History file. You should now be in the Report Table Relationships window.
13. Double click on the PM Paid Transaction History file.
14. Then double click on the PM Apply To History file.
15. Close out of the Report Table Relationships window. You should be back at the Report Definition window.
16. Click on Restrictions and select New then name your restriction.
17. Select the PM Apply To History files for the Report Table .
18. From the Fields section, select any field and click on Add Field .
19. Then click on the = sign and the Add Field button.
20. From the Fields section select Add Field then click OK .
21. Now select the Layout button from the Report Definition window.
22. From the Toolbox , select the PM Appy To History table.
23. Pull out the Apply From Document Number (Check Number) and the Apply To Document Number (Invoice) onto the body (B) section of the report.
24. Next, close out of Report Writer and go back into Dynamics/eEnterprise (File - Great Plains Dynamics/eEnterprise).
25. Go to Setup - System - Security .
26. Select your user, company, product (Dynamics/eEnterprise, type (Modified Reports) and series (Purchasing).
27. Double click on the POP Purchase Order Status Detailed Report . Make sure there is an * next to the report.
