You receive the "An unknown error has occurred" error message when you move a mailbox from one store to another store by using Exchange Task Wizard in Exchange 2000

Symptoms

When you try to move a mailbox from one store to another store by using Exchange Task Wizard in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, you receive the following error message:
Moving messages. CN=Domain_name,CN=Users,DC= Organization_name,DC=com: An unknown error has occurred.
Additionally, the following error events are logged in the event log.

Resolution

Hotfix information
