Error "This Transaction Contains Multicurrency Errors(s)" when importing a multicurrency RM transaction

SYMPTOM

I am importing a MC(multicurrency) RM transaction. When I try to post, I get the error "This Transaction Contains Multicurrency Error(s)" and then "The exchange rate does not exist." I did import values into the Currency ID, Rate Type ID, Exchange Table ID and Exchange Rate fields for the Multicurrency Receivables Transactions file.

RESOLUTION

Even though the Rate Type ID was imported and did exist in the Rate Exchange Maintenance table, the Time field was not updated in the MC_RM_Transactions file. The Time field must match the time on the exchange rate record.
