INTERNAL: Error 'No Current Record' When Generating an FRx Report

TechKnowledge Content

Issue

I am generating a report in FRx and am receiving a 'No Current Record' error in the reporting engine.

Resolution

This error might be happening because FRx has a damaged index file. This can happen if the file is not rebuilt for a long period of time or if users have terminated the system incorrectly. Please have all other users exit FRx and follow the steps below.

1. Browse to the SYSDATA folder and rename all .g32 files. The SYSDATA folder is found by going to Admin | Organization and clicking on the SYSDATA button. Follow the path listed there in Windows Explorer to rename the *.g32 files.

2. Launch FRx and and log into the FW company.

3. Go to File | Compact FRx database.

4. Compact the Current Specification Set Database first.

5. Compact the FRx System Database second.

6. Verify that you no longer get the error.
