Issue
If I enter two hourly transactions for the same employee for different amounts and the total of those amounts exceed the number of hours needed to calculate Automatic Overtime in Payroll Setup, how does the system know what transaction to use to calculate the overtime hours?
Resolution
The system will add all the hourly transactions together and subtract the amount that exceeds the Automatic Overtime amount in Payroll Setup. It then divides the overtime hours by the total number of hours worked and takes that percentage and multiplies it times each hourly transaction to calculate how many regular hours (of each hourly transaction) the system will calculate to pay.
