SYMPTOMS

When using eConnect 7.5.1.0 integrating a Sales Transaction with the Document Sender, you may receive the following error message:

Cannot insert the value NULL in 'EXTDCOST' IV10001 with eConnect 7.5.

CAUSE

There is no Functional Currency setup in Setup | Financial | Multicurrency.

RESOLUTION

Make sure that in the Multicurrency setup window that a functional currency is setup. To setup the Functional Currency go to Setup | Financial | Multicurrency.
