Issue


When you install eConnect, you may receive the following error message:

"Error 1901. Error attempting to read from the source installation database: C:\WINNT\Installer\1db4b41.msi"

Resolution


If you are using the PKZip program to extract the downloaded zip file containing the eConnect installation files, try using the built-in zip file utility in Windows XP or a different zip file utility.
