Question: Customers who are NOT registered for Multicurrency and getting the error message "functional currency not defined"

Answer: Customers who are NOT registered for Multicurrency and getting the error message "functional currency not defined" or other similar Multicurrency errors should do the following steps after completing a backup:

1. Rename the following files: FINANCE FOLDER GL10000 GL10001 GL20000 GL30000 PURCHASING FOLDER PM10000 PM10300 PM10400 PM20000 PM30200 MC020103 SALES FOLDER MC020102 (in the Sales folder) RM10201 RM10301 RM20101 RM30101

2. In Dynamics, go to Setup - Financial - Multicurrency, then select the correct functional currency.

3. Rename back the original files.

NOTE: Some of the files you renamed automatically recreate new empty files, be sure you delete the empty files before you rename back the original files.
