Which Pay Codes allow the Unit Cost to be edited in the Project Accounting Timesheet entry window?
Resolution
The Pay Type of the pay code determines if the Unit Cost can be edited in Timesheet Entry in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
The following Pay Types are the Pay Types that allow the Unit Cost to be edited in Timesheet Entry:
- Hourly
- Piecework
- Overtime
- Double Time
The following Pay Types are the Pay Types that DO NOT allow the Unit Cost to be edited in Timesheet entry:
- Salary
- Commission
- Business Expense
- Vacation
- Sick
- Holiday
- Pension
- Other
- Earned Income Credit
- Minimum Wage Balance
Note The following Pay Types cannot be used for Project Accounting timesheet transactions:
- Charge Tips
- Reported Tips
- Pension
- Earned Income Credit
