Issue

'40002 - IM002: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified Database connection error number 1. RDO Error #0 IM002: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified Accounting system registration not found for system type: 0' occurs in Report Server when sending a report to the queue.


Resolution

The problem is that there is an ODBC connection setup that is pointed from the Report Server to the data server, but it does not have the same name as the ODBC used in Designer.


For example, when I log into FRx and go to Company | Information | System Specific tab, I see my Data Source Name is Reporter. On the Report Server the ODBC I have set up is called ReportServer. This will cause the error. To resolve it create an ODBC on the Report Server that is also called eEnterprise7.
