Issue

What do the Create CO Baseline and Default Track Changes To: questions in Change Order Contract Information do?

Resolution

Create CO Baseline - is used when change orders are created on the fly during a cost transaction. If this option is marked, change orders created on the fly will track changes to the Baseline. If it remains unmarked, changes are tracked to the Forecast.

Default Track Changes To - is used when creating a new change order using Change Order Entry. If you would like new change orders created in that window to track changes to Forecast, mark Forecast. If you would like new change orders to track to Baseline, mark Baseline.
Note - Default Track Changes To: is a new option added to R7.1 of Project Accounting.
