Adding Check Number to the Historical Aged Trial Balance

Question:

Can I add the check number on the Historical Aged Trial Balance for applied checks?

Answer:

Yes, follow these steps:

1. In Report Writer, click the Tables button. Highlight the PM_Aged_TB_Apply_TEMP table and click Open.

2. Click Relationships and Click New.

3. For the Secondary Table field, select the PM Apply To History File.

4. Fo the Secondary Table Key, select Key1.

5. Select the following fields in the Primary Table column, in this order: Apply To Voucher Number Apply To Document Type Voucher Number Document Type Click OK on the various windows until you are back the the main Report Writer window.

6. Click the Reports button and insert the PM Historical Aged TB - Detail report and open it.

7. In the Report Definition window, click Tables.

8. Highlight the PM Aged Trial Balance Apply to TEMP file and click New.

9. Select the PM Apply to History file and click OK. Close the Table Relationships window.

10. Click the Layout button and drag the field Apply from Document Number into the Body section of the report.

11. Save the report, set security and print it. Note: Only payments in the history file will print with the check number on the report. For those payments in open, the number will not print.

Note: Make sure that your report option is not excluding fully applied documents.
