Multiple change orders for the same project line item

Question:
I have a budget line item on my project that I may need to do more than one change order for. Can I do that?

Answer:
Yes, as long as you don’t have more than one change order in a Pending status for either the baseline or the forecast with that project’s cost category on it. The same budget line item can be on as many Unapproved or Approved change orders as you wish. It can also be on two Pending change orders if one is for the baseline and the other is for the forecast. It just can’t be on more than one Pending change order for the forecast or for the baseline.
