TechKnowledge Content

Question:

When logging into PDK I receive an error
The user id and password are not a valid login on the server.I setup the user in Setup-System-User in PDK and when I look in there the user did save. What should I do?

Answer:

When setting up users in PDK if the user id and password is the
sameas the one you use to login into Dynamics/ eEnterprise then verify in Setup-System-SQL Options that the two options are
notmarked.

If the user id and password is
newwhen you enter it in Setup-System-User then you need to make sure that the SQL Options are
markedin Setup-System-SQL Options when you are creating the user.Otherwise, you will need to go into Enterprise Manager and make the user part of the Dyngroup.
