The currency/price level/U of M combination is not included in the price list for this item.

Issue

I am receiving the error The currency/price level/U of M combination is not included in the price list for this item when entering a transaction in the Sales Transaction Entrywindow (Transactions| Sales|Sales Transaction Entry). What do I need to do to fix this problem?


Resolution

You are trying to enter a transaction for an item that does not have the price list setup or is missing a part of the combination. To see the combination that is missing, enter theitem in the Sales Item Detail Window (click on the expansion box when the cursor is in the Item Number field). From that window the combinations that are being used will be displayed. You can use the following options to fix this error message:


1. If you do not want to add information about this item to the Item Price List Maintenance window, mark the setting
Prices Not Required in Price List in the Sales Order Processing Setup window (Setup| Sales| Sales Order Processing), and re-enter the document.


2. If you wish to add prices for this item go to the Item Price List Maintenance window (Cards| Inventory|Item|Price List).
