Resolution

To resolve this issue, use one of the followig methods:
  • Configure the Address (URI) property for the receive location to point to a shared folder that is available to all the BizTalk Server-based servers that are associated with the BizTalk Server host that is associated with the receive location.
  • Configure the Address (URI) property for the receive location to point to a local file share. Then, create the exact file structure that is referenced by the Address (URI) property on each BizTalk Server-based server that is associated with the BizTalk Server host that is associated with the receive location.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Create a receive location on a BizTalk Server-based server that is a member of a group that contains other BizTalk Server-based servers.
  2. Configure the Transport Type property of the receive location as FILE.
  3. Configure the Address (URI) property of the receive location to reference a local folder that does not exist on one or more of the other BizTalk Server-based servers in the group.
