Prerequisites
This update requires Exchange Server 5.5 SP4.

must first uninstall that update rollup before installing this rereleased
November 2004 Update Rollup (build 2658.25).
Hotfix replacement information
This update replaces the following Exchange Server 5.5 hotfix:
829418 Information store intermittently stops responding and an access violation occurs in EcDSDNFromSz
Restart requirement
You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this
update.
Installation information
The Setup program tries to stop the appropriate services so that
the installation can conclude without having to restart the system. The Setup
program restarts the services it successfully stopped. However, if a file that
must be replaced is being used and the service cannot be stopped, you are
prompted to restart your computer at the end of the Setup process. For example,
the Setup program may not be able to stop antivirus software.
