After you apply this hotfix, you must edit the registry. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
- Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
- Right-click Main, point to New, and then click Key.
- Type FeatureControl, and then press ENTER to name the new subkey.
- Right-click FeatureControl, point to New, and then click Key.
- Type KB841368_Update_Layout_Calculations, and then press ENTER to name the new subkey.
- Right-click KB841368_Update_Layout_Calculations, point to New, and then click DWORD value.
- Type iexplore.exe, and then press ENTER to name the new value.
- Right-click iexplore.exe, and then click Modify.
- Type 1 in the Value data box, and then click OK.
- Close Registry Editor.
