You may receive status message ID 4963 or 5436 in the Systems Management Server 2003 or Configuration Manager 2007 Administrator Console when you try to install a new management point

Symptoms

When you try to install a Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 or a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (ConfigMgr) management point, the management point is installed incorrectly. You may receive one of the following status messages in the Administrator Console:
  • In SMS 2003 you may receive status message ID 4963 or 5436.
  • In ConfigMgr you may receive status message ID 4963, 5436, 5437, 5438, 5439, 5480, 5481, 5482, or 5483
