Terminal Services clients may continue to receive a third-party GINA window after it is disabled

Symptoms

When you select the Use standard Windows authentication check box on the Connection_Name Properties page in Terminal Services Configuration, Terminal Services clients may continue to receive a third-party Graphical Identification and Authentication (GINA) window.

To view the Use standard Windows authentication setting, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Terminal Services Configuration.
  2. Click Connections, right-click the connection that you want to modify, such as RDP-Tcp, and then click Properties.
  3. On the General tab, click to select the Use standard Windows authentication check box, and then click OK.

Hotfix information
