Installation information
You do not have to install this rollup if you have installed the Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1 on your Exchange computer.
The Setup program tries to stop the appropriate services so that the installation can finish without having to restart the system. (The Setup program restarts the services that it successfully stopped.) However, if a file that is to be replaced is in use and the service cannot be stopped (such as antivirus software), you are prompted to restart your computer after the Setup program has finished running.
Note If you remove the rollup, you may be prompted to restart your computer. After you restart your computer, your computer is restored to the previous state.
