FIX: You experience slow performance when you use the CrossReference APIs in BizTalk Server 2004

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 includes CrossReference application programming interfaces (APIs) that provide utility methods for getting and for setting ID and value mappings. You can use these mappings to translate the ID field and the value field in a source message instance into the appropriate ID field and value field for the corresponding destination message instance.

However, you may notice that when you use the CrossReference APIs, your server performs transformations in the mapper slowly.
