FIX: The ProfileService object fails after you install Commerce Server 2002 SP2

Symptoms

A Commerce site runs correctly in Microsoft Commerce Server 2002. After Commerce Server 2002 Service Pack 2 (SP2) is installed, the ProfileService object fails with an access violation. This problem may occur if the ProfileService object tries to process a profile definition that contains invalid data.

Workaround

To work around this problem, follow one of these steps:
Delete the invalid profiles that have no join keys.
Use the Mscsups.dll file for Commerce Server 2002 SP1 (build 4.5.3020.0) to replace the Mscsups.dll file for Commerce Server 2002 SP2 (build 4.5.3320.0).
