BUG: You receive an error message when you open or convert an Access 2.0 database file in Access 2003

Symptoms

When you try to open or to convert a Microsoft Access 2.0 database file in Microsoft Office Access 2003, you receive the following message:
You must install the Microsoft Access 2.0 Converter in order to convert this file.
To obtain the Access 2.0 Converter from the Microsoft Office Web site, click "Microsoft Office Online" on the Help menu.

Cause

This issue occurs because you have to install additional files that are not installed by Access 2003 to open or to convert an Access 2.0 database file.

Resolution

To download the Access 2.0 Converter free of charge, visit the following Microsoft Web site: After you install this download, Access 2003 will automatically recognize the Access 2.0 Converter.

The global version of this update has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
