How to turn on AutoRecovery in Visio

To turn on the AutoRecovery option, follow these steps:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
   
2. Click the Save tab, and then click to select the Save AutoRecovery info every check box.
3. In the minutes box, type the interval that you want between AutoRecovery save operations, and then click OK.
   

If the AutoRecovery option is turned on in Visio 2007 or in Visio 2003, a file that is named AutoRecover11.ini is created. You can save the recovered file to preserve the unsaved contents that were lost during the application crash or the system crash.
