How to Emulate 101-Key Keyboard Keys That Are Not Included on Macintosh Computers Such As the iBook or the iMac

The Macintosh iMac and the Macintosh iBook notebook computers have keyboards that have fewer keys than a standard 101-key keyboard. Therefore, some keys, such as the F13, F14, and F15 function keys, are not available. However, you can map different keyboard combinations to gain the missing keys' functionality. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On the Virtual PC List, click the virtual machine you want to use.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Keyboard.
4. For each Keyboard Setting you want to map, follow these steps:
   
   1. Click the box next to the key setting that you want to map.
   2. Type the key combination that you want to use.
      
5. Click OK.
   

Note You can also obtain a USB keyboard that has the complete set of keys. Virtual PC can use this keyboard without any problem when it is connected to your Macintosh computer.
