View products that this article applies to.

If you start a Windows Server 2003-based computer that has the Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) preinstalled, when the Mini-Setup Wizard starts, text that is displayed on the screen appears too large, and some of the objects on the screen are only partly visible.

This issue may occur if both of the following conditions are true:
  • The MUI for any of the following languages is installed:
    • Chinese (Simplified), CHS
    • Chinese (Traditional), CHT
    • Japanese, JPN
    • Korean, KOR
  • Sysprep.exe has been run in reseal mode to prepare it for its first use.
If both of the conditions are true, some of the fonts that the program must have to display text labels correctly during Mini-Setup are not loaded.
