XL2002: Date Formats Are Lost When You Programmatically Move Data from One Range to Another

When you use a macro to move data from one range of cells to another range of cells, cells that contain dates lose their formatting when they are moved to the new cells.

This probelm occurs if the following conditions exist:

• Your regional settings are set to any country that uses dd/mm/yyy as the short date format.
• The date format being copied is dd-mm-yyyy.
• The macro either sets one range equal to another or reads the range in an array, and out of the array into the new range.
