Symptoms

An access violation in the Multicast Group Manager (MGM) component may occur on a Windows Server 2003-based computer that is configured as a remote access virtual private network (VPN) server, where Internet Group Membership Protocol (IGMP) is enabled for multicast support.

Hotfix Information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article.
