"There is no such object on the server" error message when you configure filtering by using Exchange System Manager

In Exchange System Manager, when you right-click Message Delivery, click Properties, and then click the Connection Filter tab, you receive the following error message: When you click the Sender Filtering or Recipient Filtering tabs, and then click Apply to apply the values that you configured, you receive the following error message:

This problem occurs when you try to configure filtering on an Exchange Server 2003 computer that is an administration server that is a member of a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server organization. The Sender Filtering and Recipient Filtering options cannot be configured in an organization that does not have an Exchange Server 2003 computer as a member.

To work around this problem, configure filtering options from a server that is running Exchange 2000 Exchange System Manager. For more information, see the Set Message Filtering topic in Exchange 2000 Help.
