FP2002: Cannot Change Password Through Link in Invitation E-Mail

Symptoms

When you click the link to change your password in an invitation e-mail that is sent to you from a Unix based Web server that is running FrontPage Server Extensions 2002, you are repeatedly prompted to type your username and password and then you are denied access.

Cause

This problem occurs because a link in the invitation e-mail is not valid when you change your password.

Resolution

To correct this problem, contact your Web site administrator to upgrade the server extensions on your Web site.
