Level:300This
presentation will illustrate how to successfully implement user interface
extensions for WIA devices on Windows XP. We will discuss three types of
extensions - property sheets, context menus, and device acquisition dialog
replacement. Topics include extension installation, runtime binding to the
correct IWiaItem, communication with the driver, and driver properties that
control some Windows XP behaviors. Code samples will be shown. Knowledge of C++
and the Windows XP DDK is expected.
