Symptoms

On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows 2000, you may experience either of the following symptoms:
  • When you use Windows Explorer to map a network drive, the mapped network drive is not visible. You must log off Windows, and then log on again for the mapped drive to become visible.
  • When you disconnect from a network drive in Windows Explorer, the network drive remains visible in Windows Explorer. To remove the network drive from Windows Explorer, you must log off Windows, and then log on again.
