Symptoms

You use Microsoft Server ActiveSync to send a message from a Pocket PC device. If your mailbox is over the size limit, you may receive an HTTP 500 error instead of an HTTP 507 error as expected. Additionally, the Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS) log files in Microsoft Mobile Information Server 2002 and in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server may contain the same HTTP 500 error.

Update rollup information

To resolve this problem, obtain the August 2004 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 update rollup.
