Summary

You can use the Active Directory-based Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies feature of Windows Server 2003 to define preferred wireless networks, and to configure wireless network settings and 802.1x authentication. The new features that have been added to the Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies make it possible for you to define wireless network policy settings with Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support.

To access Active Directory-based wireless network policy settings, follow these steps:
  1. On the domain controller, start the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
  2. Right-click the domain object in the console tree, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Group Policy tab.
  4. Click Default Domain Policy, and then click Edit.
  5. Expand the following folder:
    Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies
