Tips

In spite of selecting "Always Show" the power icon remains hidden in the taskbar. This has nothing to do with the hide inactive icons settings. The defect shows up when you don't have any icons set for hiding.

CAUSE:-This problem may happen if Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is enabled.

RESOLUTION:-
To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods:

*Log off and then log back on to the current user profile.
Restart your computer.

*Open My Network Places ,UPnP-enabled devices exist on your network if UPnP is enabled. You shall  opt to hide icons for networked UPnP devices. You may uninstall UPnP from Add/Remove Windows Components.
